HFC United recreational soccer offers a program for PreK/K (age 4) to 4^th grade. HFC is committed to the mission of fostering a quality recreational soccer program within a safe, fun, healthy and developmental environment.  Our club strives to teach and encourage our youth players, promote competitive fair play and sportsmanship with players and coaches, respect and develop a love for the game of soccer.    Please review our Recreational Soccer page for more details

As you progress thru our recreational soccer program we encourage parents start reviewing the next steps towards competitive (travel) soccer. We encourage parents review the handout on Competitive soccer versus Recreational soccer that starts at level U9 (generally age 8).

HFC United's co-ed recreational Indoor Soccer League is one of the most popular, and anticipated, programs each March and April.  The indoor soccer league has its roots starting over 25 years ago when Hastings Youth Athletic Association (HYAA) ran soccer programing in Hastings.

In mid-March, when hockey season winds down, the City of Hastings installs flat, turf-like placement over one of the hockey rinks surface. Games are fast-paced, usually high scoring, and is a good warm-up for competitive travel soccer players as the Minnesota spring season is as unpredictable as its winter season. Competitive (travel) Soccer (age 8-18)

Training

The Competitive players are for players age 8-18 years old (sometimes 7 year olds are comfortable to start). This program competes with clubs in the metro area, generally within 30 miles of St. Paul Allianz field, and can be played in the fall and summer.
