Congrats to the HFC United U12 09 Girls Cities team for winning the 2020 Twin Cities Soccer League (TCSL) Champions Shootout.  The game was played a week later than anticipated (due to lovely October snow in Minnesota) and was held on Halloween (10/31/2020) at the Academy of Holy Angels dome in Minneapolis.

The girls defeated the Lakeville United U12 09 Girls Black team 3-1 to win the Girls U12 Gold bracket of the 2020 TCSL Champions Shootout tournament.

Coached by Mike Engeldinger (two-time Stella Cup winning coach), with Assistant Coach Tori Engeldinger, the HFC United U12 09 Girls Cities team finished their fall group with a record of 5-1-0, and finished their championship season 7-1-0.  Between league and tournament play, the girls team played both Lakeville United teams (U12 09 Girls Gold and Black teams) a total of four times (finishing with a 3-1-0 record vs. Lakeville).  The U12 09 Girls Cities team finished the season with a goal differentical of +32, and finished the season with three shutout games.
