HFC United becomes a full-member of the Twin Cities Soccer League

After joining the Twin Cities Soccer League (TCSL) as a probationary member last July (of 2019), HFC United has met all coaching requirements and club criteria to become a full-member of the TCSL.

The TCSL's coaching requirements were met by HFC United supporting and funding various levels of coaches licensing courses for any interested traveling coaches and assistant coaches.

During the past year, HFC United had eight coaches earn a combined 19 coaching licenses.

US Soccer Federation (USSF) License # of Licenses
4 v 4 Grassroots- 1
7 v 7 Grassroots- 4
9 v 9 Grassroots- 7
11 v 11 Grassroots- 5
National D License- 2

In addition, four coaches of HFC United already had earned a coaching license coming into HFC United- two coaches with a National D license and two coaches with a National E license.

Many of the coaches completed their license courses before COVID-19, where in-classroom courses were put on hold.  All coaches are able to take, and get reimbursement for, earning any of the USSF Grassroots online courses.  The US Soccer Learning Center has a course listing (in-person and online) for coaches and referees.
